ShakeR is a supplement tracking app developed by Andreas Grapentin (SoDa — Software und Daten). This privacy policy explains how the app handles your data.
In short: ShakeR does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data. All your data stays on your device.
All data you enter into ShakeR — including supplement details, consumption logs, stock entries, and your preferences — is stored locally on your device using Android’s Room database and DataStore. This data is never sent to any server, cloud service, or third party.
ShakeR requests camera access solely for the barcode scanning feature, which allows you to quickly identify supplements by scanning their packaging. Barcode recognition is performed entirely on your device using Google ML Kit’s on-device barcode scanning library. No images or camera data are transmitted off your device.
ShakeR may request permission to send local notifications to remind you about low stock levels and scheduled consumption. These notifications are generated entirely on your device and do not involve any external service.
The app declares the INTERNET permission to support potential future features. Currently, ShakeR does not make any network requests and does not transmit any data over the internet.
ShakeR does not integrate any analytics, advertising, crash reporting, or other third-party services that collect user data. The only third-party library that processes data is Google ML Kit for barcode scanning, which operates entirely on-device.
ShakeR provides a data export feature that saves your supplement data as a JSON file to your device. This file remains under your control and is not automatically shared with anyone.
ShakeR does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. The app does not collect personal information from any user.
If this privacy policy is updated, the changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
